Peedamulla

Working with Tourism WA’s Camping with Custodians initiative, Peedamulla Station campground, in the Shire of Ashburton, is the first Pilbara based CwC destination. The project was to develop a site responsive camp kitchen area and ablution block, located within the broader CwC camp grounds, surrounded by individual camp sites.

Decorative screening and colours were inspired by local spinifex and canopy rooves representing the shade trees scattered through the site.

CwC is an Australian first initiative where visitors can stay on indigenous lands and engage with Aboriginal people, providing positive experiences for both groups.
